センターキャビネットには響きの優しい厳選した山櫻無垢材を削り出し、生漆を用い拭き漆仕上げを施して使用しています。飛騨高山で、職人の手で一つ一つ丁寧にそして緻密に仕上げられた逸品です。

ウルシの木の樹液である漆は、太陽と土と水の営みから 作られ木を育てる事で繰り返し得られる天然の塗料です。
漆が木に深く浸透し硬化すると、どんな塗料よりも 耐久性に優れています。
また、漆塗装は紫外線などで透けて行き木目が見える様に経時変化します。
使い込む程に音質も外観もエイジングされて行きます。

位相補正チューブには弐型制振塗装を施し位相補正チューブの鳴きを徹底的に抑制、より歪み感が少なく柔らかい高音域を実現致しました。
更に、音響調整部品を“櫻材”に合わせ微調整する事により超低音域から超高音域までスムーズでつながりの良い音が完成しました。
Flat4シリーズの中では最も柔らかい音に仕上がっています。

外耳道長の標準の方用がFlat4-櫻Plus 、長めの方用がFlat4-緋櫻Plusとなります。

Flat4-SAKURA Plus and AKAZAKURA Plus are the latest collaboration of Oak village’s timber craftsmanship and Ocharaku’s finest sound engineering.

Wild Sakura wood from the forest of Hida-Takayama is specially selected and used for canter cabinet to enhance a fine and delicate resonance. Each pieces are handcrafted to a perfection and coated with natural raw lacquer.

The raw lacquer extracted from Japanese sumac; one of the most ideal natural over coat; exceptionally solidify the wild Sakura wood than any chemical over coats.
Over time, by exposure to sun (UV) light, lacquer coat increases its translucent level thus the timber grain starts to be more and more visible.

Flat4-SAKURA Plus and AKAZAKURA Plus will age both sound and visual only in your way.
Vibe-resist coating is applied on Phase adjustor tube to suppress the howling noise and minimizing sound deterioration to achieve warm and softer treble (higher register).

Smoothest sound continuity from the deepest bass to highest treble are achieved by carefully adjusting every sound effective parts to its upmost compatibility with Wild Sakura timber.

Flat4-SAKURA Plus and AKAZAKURA Plus had the most warm, fine and sensitive sound character among Flat4 series.

好評の内に販売完了したFlat4-楓の音質を改善。構成部品を塗装材料、音響抵抗材等細部まで一から見直し余韻レベルのかすかな音まで磨き上げました。
全ては音質向上の為、改善する所は徹底的に見直し、良い所はそのまま引き継いでいます。

カナル型ヘッドホンを装着し外耳道を塞ぐと外耳道の長さで共振し音圧が上昇し強烈なピークが発生します。
このピークを排除する機構が位相補正チューブです。
Flat4-緋楓弐型では位相補正チューブの有効長を30mmに設定しました。
Flat4-楓弐型は従来通りの28mmの設定です。

The model made in collaboration with Oak Village’s expertise and Ocharaku’s acoustic technology.

The lacquered maple cabinet is a gem finished by a craftsman in Takayama, Hida.
Maple with fine grain that improves sound quality is employed in the center cabinet.
Wipe lacquering on the surface exquisitely adjusts sound.
Lacquer is sap collected from lacquer trees and a natural coating material obtained through natural elements: sun, soil, and water. Lacquer soaks into wood and is hardened, then has the excellent durability.
Type II coating, which has higher vibration-proof coating for phase correction tube enables playback of excessively fine reverberation of sound.

If the acoustic canal is closed by wearing a canal-type headphone, resonance is occurred depending on the acoustic canal length and the acoustic pressure is elevated. Accordingly, intense peak will be generated.
The phase correction tube has the mechanism to eliminate the relevant peak.
The effective length of the phase correction tube of the Flat4-AKAKAEDE Type II is 30 mm.
In Flat4 -KAEDE Type II, the effective length of the relevant tube is 28 mm the same as conventional two types.
The closer your acoustic canal length and the phase correction tube length, the better sound.

更にリアキャビネットの形状をどんぐり型にする事により内部の定在波を抑制、より自然な音質を再現します。

音響技術には音茶楽の特許トルネード・イコライザー回路を採用。(*1)
カナル型の音質劣化の元凶、外耳道を塞ぐ事によって生じる６ｋHz付近の共振を抑えます。
更にエレメントにアコースティック・ターボ回路を付加する事により振動系の等価質量を周波数に応じて可変制御。
低fo化による重低音域の充実と中音域での感度向上の両立を実現。

The second model realized by the collaboration between Oak Village and Ocharaku in their craftsman technique and acoustic technology.
Heartwood of Japanese zelkova, through which sound can propagate more rapidly and harmonically than any other wood is used in the rear cabinet.
Furthermore, the acorn shape of the rear cabinet suppresses internal standing wave, and thus reproduce more natural sound ever.
Ocharaku’s patented acoustic technology, Tornado Equalizer Circuit, is employed.
Resonance, which is the most significant factor of sound deterioration of canal headphones, at 6 kHz or around it generated by closing external auditory canal is suppressed.

Additionally, applying the acoustic turbo circuit to the element variably controls the equivalent mass in the vibrating system depending on frequency, and thus, due to lower resonance frequency (fo), enhancement in deep bass range and sensitivity improvement in midrange are compatible.
Taking advantage of single element, Donguri-Keyaki smoothly reproduces from ultra-low to ultra-high tone ranges.

Hybrid Vibration-proof

With its extraordinary sound quality exceeding the level of the conventional canal types, Flat4-Sui”粋” won the No.1 hot-selling product at Fujiya Avic in 2012. The Flat4-Kuro”玄” is an upgraded model of the Flat4-Sui”粋”, and its sound quality is thoroughly enhanced based on the Flat4-Sui”粋”. Excessive sound due to mechanical vibration slightly occurred in the cabinet and phase correction tube was drastically reduced in this model. The high damping alloy M2052 for power coating is impressed, and hybrid vibration-proof finishing is treated inside the cabinet. Vibration-proof coating around the phase correction tube realizes the sound reproduction of a conventionally hard-to-hear feeble afterglow.

ウルシの木の樹液である漆は、太陽と土と水の営みから 作られ木を育てる事で繰り返し得られる天然の塗料です。

Maple with fine grain that improves sound quality is employed in the center cabinet.

Lacquer is sap collected from lacquer trees and a natural coating material obtained through natural elements: sun, soil, and water.
